Function
The RM-DPT devices from the SensorLine range are differential pressure transmitters for application in harsh industrial environments. They are used to measure non-corrosive gaseous media in above atmospheric and negative pressure ranges.
The transmitters convert the mechanical quantity pressure/differential pressure to an electrical measuring signal. Within the calibrated measuring range, the electrical output signal is proportional to the applied pressure/differential pressure. Thanks to the use of piezoresistive measuring cells and highly precise compensation and evaluation electronics the transmitters are calibrated for a broad temperature range with very narrow error margins.
Types
Devices with different measuring ranges and accuracy classes in 2-wire or 4-wire connection are available to cover a wide range of applications. Two-wire connected transmitters are also available as twin transmitters in a single box. All box-type versions are also available for Ex areas acc. to ATEX zone 22, cat. 3D. The explosion proof versions are approved by DEKRA-EXAM.
For RECO control systems and automation devices, the transmitters are also available as snap-on modules.
