Function

The RM-DPC Micro units from the SensorLine range are differential pressure controllers for application in harsh industrial environments. They are used to measure, visualize and control non-corrosive gaseous media in above atmospheric and negative pressure ranges.

All necessary functions can be easily configured and displayed with the backlit text display and 2-key menu control. In the operating mode, the 32-characters text display shows the differential pressure with selectable physical unit as well as service and alarm messages. Additionally, the states ON / SERVICE / ALARM are indicated by LEDs.

Apart from the controller functions, also the on-off controller, time functions, operating and service hours counters can be configured by the software. The measuring range can be configured by a program parameter that automatically sets the output signals for the differential pressure to the desired range. Thanks to these functions, the differential pressure controller can be used for a variety of applications.

For customer-specific applications, the in-system function can be used to easily add, edit or extend software modules. On request, further sensors are available for special measuring ranges.

Types

For an optimal application, the differential pressure controller is available in two versions: RM-DPC Micro and RM-DPC Micro FP. The RM-DPC Micro devices are designed for wall mounting in a NormLine-S box. The RM-DPC Micro FP devices are designed for panel mounting in a front panel. Both device versions are also available for Ex areas acc. to ATEX zone 22, cat. 3D. The explosion proof versions are approved by DEKRA-EXAM.
