Filter control RM-BV 12

Function

The RM-BV12 from the BasicLine range is a filter controller in modular design with extendable functionalities for small and medium-sized filter systems with pulse cleaning up to 12 valves in harsh industrial environments.

On the basic model RM-BV 12, all necessary functions - number of valves, valve opening time, pause time and downtime cleaning - can be easily set by selector switches. Key operational conditions of the units - monitoring of the supply and valve voltages, short-circuit monitoring of the valve outputs - are signalled as alarms via the potential-free relay outputs. Additionally, the unit can be externally started and stopped via signal inputs. The states ON / STOP / ALARM / VALVE OUTPUT 1-12 are indicated by LEDs. In the explosion proof version with integrated solenoid valves, a temperature sensor monitors the controller and cuts off the unit in the case of a malfunction.

For an extension of the functionalities, the RM-DPC differential pressure control module can be plugged on the basic unit. Among others, a cleaning as a function of the differential pressure and a differential pressure monitoring can then be configured. All necessary functions can be easily configured and displayed with the backlit text display and 2-key menu control. In the operating mode, the 32-characters text display shows the differential pressure with selectable physical unit, the cleaning function as well as service and alarm messages. Additionally, the states ON / SERVICE / ALARM are indicated by LEDs.

All functions of the differential pressure guard/controller and filter controller can be configured and extended by software.

Types

Devices for wall mounting are accommodated in a NormLine box and can be equipped with up to 10 solenoid valves in this version. If more valves are necessary, another NormLine box with integrated valves can be mounted on the flange. As an alternative, the control system can be extended with valve boxes from the RECO range (V boxes / ComponentLine). The devices are also available with mounting frame for rail mounting. For an outdoor installation up to an outside temperature of -45 °C, the RM-BV 12 can be equipped with a controlled valve heating that is supplied from the device’s transformer. All versions are also available for the ATEX zone 22, cat. 3D, and are DEKRA EXAM approved.
