Function
The products from the BasicLine range are simple filter controllers for small filter systems in harsh industrial environments. Four selector switches can be used to easily configure all necessary functions - number of valves, valve opening time, pause time and downtime cleaning. Key operational conditions of the units - failure or variation of the supply voltage, broken wire of a connected valve or short-circuit of a valve output - are signalled as alarms via potential-free contacts. Additionally, the devices can be externally started and stopped via signal inputs. In the explosion proof version, a temperature protection
device monitors the controller and the built in solenoid valves. In the case of a failure, the device is automatically cut off and an alarm is signalled via a potential-free output.
Types
For a wide range of applications, two versions, RM-BV 4 Micro and RM-BV 8, are available with many different configurations. The RM-BV-4 Micro version is designed for the NormLine-S box and can be equipped with four solenoid valves as a maximum. The RM-BV-8 version is designed for the NormLine box and the mounting frame for rail mounting systems. Up to eight solenoid valves can be fitted in a NormLine box. For outdoor applications up to an ambient temperatur of -45 °C, the RM-BV 8 can be equipped with a controlled valve heating. The heating circuit is supplied by the internal transformer and does not need any separate power supply. The versions in a BlueLine box with or without integrated valves are also DEKRA-EXAM-approved for the ATEX zone 22 cat. 3D. In this version, a temperature sensor is installed to monitor the built in solenoid valves.
Moreover, special versions can be manufactured and programmed on customer‘s request.
