Function
The diaphragm valves and flushing gas tank systems with Reflex-Power diaphragms are used for pressure pulse cleaning by means of flushing gas on filtering separators. Thanks to the use of high-performance plastics in combination with metals, the diaphragm valves and the flushing gas tank systems could be optimized with respect to fluidic mechanics. A Reflex-Power pulse diaphragm from TPE is the core. It features a pressure point function reinforcing the closing operation.
The pressure variation curves of the new valve generation particularly excels by an improved efficiency of the pressure rise and shorter closing times. The result is a more efficient cleaning of the filter medium with reduced flushing gas quantity. From the specific pressure variation curves of the individual filter valves it can be seen that the cleaning of the filter medium only takes place in the first third of the valve opening time.
Types
The diaphragm valves of the size DN25 are available as 90° angled and push-in VS versions. Both versions are made from high-performance plastic material and are also available with FDI approval. Valves from the size DN40 are made from die cast aluminium, optionally with protecion against oxidation.
The flushing gas tank systems for the valve size DN25 are based on an extruded aluminium section. The VS version has an integrated push-in valve and the VR version comes with screwed on 90° angled valve. The valves are made from highperformance plastics and can vary over a tank length of max. 2200 mm at a minimum distance of 85 mm.
All versions are available for electrical control with solenoid valves or for pneumatic control with push-fits or internal threads. For other designs, the moulds for the diaphragm valves and the dies for the extruded sections are designed as a modular system allowing an adaption to customer-specific requirements.
