Function
The filter controllers RM-208 C / ...CB and RM-216 C / ...CB from the EasyLine range have a Loop bus interface for the control of the extension modules RM-LV8 / ...16 for use in filter systems with pulse cleaning and up to 128 valves in harsh industrial environments.
A 32-character text display and a 3-key menu control on the controllers can be used to set and view diverse operating modes and control functions in an easy and convenient manner. In operating mode, the text display indicates all current status messages and control functions. Additionally, the states ON / SERVICE / ALARM are indicated by LEDs. Via the Loop Bus interface, it is possible to control a maximum of 7 extension modules from the different controllers. Important operating characteristics of the controllers – monitoring of the supply and valve voltage, valve output short-circuit monitoring, alarms and Loop Bus function monitoring – are signalled via potential-free relay outputs as alarms. In the ATEX version for the dust ex zone 22 with integrated solenoid valves RM-NG 4, a temperature sensor monitors the controllers and cuts off the devices in case of malfunction.
More than 160 software modules from the filter technology can be chosen for additional functions or customer-specific applications. With the in-system programming, they can be easily added, modified and extended.
Types
The RM-208 CB / ...216 CB controllers are basic versions without differential pressure sensor. The RM-208 C / ...216 C controllers are equipped with a differential pressure sensor. All device versions, controllers and extension modules, are available in the RECO NormLine box for wall mounting.
The RM-208C / ...CB controllers and the RM-LV 8 / ...16 extension modules can also be built in NormLine boxes with integrated RM-NG 4 solenoid valves. These devices are also available in a mounting frame for DIN rail mounting. In this version, the controllers are delivered with the separate RM-VISIO 32 operating and visualization panel.
For further options, the NormLine boxes can also be mounted to each other by flanges to build a functional unit. Another extension option is the connection of separate RECO V boxes from the ComponentLine range.
All versions are also available for Ex areas acc. to ATEX Dust Ex Zone 22.
