RECOMATIC control systems and components for automation technology offers a control system for the flow determination according to the differential pressure system of non-aggressive gaseous media to record measuring data as well as calculate and control volume flows.
Measuring data recording and calculation of the volume flow takes place via the RM-XT multifunction transmitter. The multifunction transmitter processes the parameters differential pressure, temperature, barometric pressure, density, pipe diameter, correction factor of the flow metering device and calculates the resulting volume flow. The data can be transmitted via different interfaces: RS-485 with R-IMC bus protocol for the RM-OP 32 control panel or for PLC controls with communication processors or as analog square root law transfer element signal for the selection of frequency converters. Calculations can also be performed via tables or with restricted parameter values.
The controller function, visualisation and input of the parameters takes place via the RM-OP 32 control panel. The control panel processes the input parameters, visualises all functions and display values through a 32-digit text display and controls the desired control elements for the volume flow control. All known control and regulating processes can be parameterised. Different input/output ports generate the selection of the control elements, alarm messages and the signal exchange to additional control components. Parameterisation and the selection of the physical unit of the display values take place via a dialogue program in eight languages. A RECO RM-SD card allows saving data with a storage capacity up to 2 Gbyte. The RM-OP 32 can also integrate additional I/O modules from the CompactLine series via the R-IMC bus into the control process thereby assuming additional functions.
The application range of the control system is merely limited by the measuring principle and the flow meter device. The control system is also available in ATEX, Zone 22, Cat. 3D.
